ABC da Guerra
is a book by João de Sousa Cardoso comprising ten essays centred on ten plays that address the phenomenon of war, ranging from Bertolt Brecht to Eduarda Dionísio, Jean-Luc Lagarce and Sarah Kane. The essays are based on the ten lectures delivered as part of ABC da Guerra, a series of intellectual discussions held at the São Luiz Theatre throughout 2025. The publication also includes visual documentation of the sessions and the guest performers (Cláudia Jardim, Miguel Borges, Joãozinho da Costa, André e. Teodósio, Carla Bolito, Kate Tomé, Elmano Sancho, Ricardo Teixeira, Joana Bárcia and Lia Gama), published by Documenta.
